I have seen, that (european) Abarth models don´t have the chassis brace like the small models have. There is even no thread in the longitudinal beam extension, only the upper one is existing.

Does anybody know the reason why? I would have expected an even reinforced chassis brace in an Abarth, but now there is none...



Because when you google for it you find a lot of tuning parts, from the US...

The American cars are quite different the a start they are a lot heavier probably why they may have extra reinforcement in the chassis's

Yes, might be with the US models.

But my predecessor, a 2009 500C 1.2 Pop (ordered and bought in Germany) had this chassis brace, too. So this is not an explanation why my Abarth 595C Turismo doesn´t have it aymore.

Which chassis brace are you talking about?

It´s the metal part that connects the subframe witht longitudinal beam, marked in orange.
