I’ve owned a fiat 500S 1.2 previously and now a 500x and considering a Abarth 595 as I’ve always dreamed of owning one. They only thing that has ever prevented me is the fuel economy and not much information on YouTube etc on the real work mpg. I know you don’t buy a abarth for economy but as my sole car and daily driver I need to be sure I can afford to run it. If driven pretty normal most of the time what sort of mpg do they give back. Don’t get me wrong I would sometime put my foot down. I usually drive my 500x in normal mode rather than sport mode but occasionally I feel the need for speed. But if I was light on the throttle what is the real world mpg. Thanks guys oh it’s a 66 plate 595 1.4 140bhp I believe

I get around 35mpg from my standard 595 with mixed driving but always in sport mode. I had an 85bhp Twinair before that and got about 40mpg as a comparison. Not much difference really....

I used to get about 35MPG

Mixed driving, non sport in town and Sport round the lanes.

What's light on the throttle?

Its almost impossible to drive an Abarth economically

But as a fun car, £ per smile unbeatable

Believe you've got a diesel 500x? If so my comparison is useless!!
Owned a 500x Multiair alongside my 145hp Abarth.
To be honest not a huge difference in mpg if 'trying'; easily 40+.
When driven 'normally', get about 35 average with Abarth.
Caveat to that is that I live in a village so most of my driving is on A roads.
500x had cruise, so made it better for mpg on a longer run
