Hi guys,. My Abarth was put away for christmas maybe 7/8 weeks ago. Battery disconnected and handbrake left off.. she’s stored in the garage..

My question is, will she be ok left for another couple of weeks? I’ve literally put her away and not been anywhere near her since. I’m not in the position to go for a drive (Sorn)

Why would you want to do that?

Check the oil & coolant levels before starting the engine, and put some in if needed.

I'd say the biggest risk after that length of time is the fuel; current generation fuels have a short shelf life and become quite corrosive in storage. If it were mine, I'd be looking to top the tank off with a premium grade petrol, preferably one not containing ethanol if you can find any, at an early opportunity once back on the road.

I'd suggest using a fuel stabiliser if you're planning to lay up a vehicle for more than a month, but that needs to be done before putting it into storage, not afterwards.
