Technical boot wont open

2015 abarth boot/trunk does not respond to key or handle
any ideas

did u wash the car recently ?

Little clip on the back of the lock inside the boot to manually open it. Dies the solenoid sound when you click the button on the remote or press the handle?

The car is a cabriolet which I forgot to mention
I haven't just washed it and the solenoid doesn't make a noise
The roof coincidently is now opening completely by holding the button down whereas before it would open in stages
I had noticed the roof would not completely close leaving an inch or so gap but would close fully after a few attempts

Have you done the roof relearn procedure. Sounds like it might have forgotten where it is.
