R Rcdot New member Joined May 1, 2018 Messages 2 Points 1 May 1, 2018 #1 I have an abarth and when it's running in idle there is a ticking noise coming from the engine on the passengers side. If I rev the engine it gets faster. Any idea what it could be? Seems to be ok when I'm on the move

Never noticed the sound before but I've checked oil levels and they are fine. The car also seems to be running ok with no power loss Took a short video but not sure I can upload it on here?

Errhh yes. An old trick I used to hear about donkeys years ago that people did when selling a car with a noisy camshaft.
