Hi All.

So the clutch change went well apart from finding cv boot grease sprayed up both sides of the fire wall and surrounding subframe. I guess that answers the wheel bearing question! Anyway, since replacing the cv inner boots and putting it all back together there is now a vibration around 40-50mph. Anyone had this issue? It's not the balancing as it was done immediately after the clutch change along with 2 new front tyres. I'm wondering if the lack of grease in the boots has wrecked the spider bearings, any suggestions?

Sounds like the spider bearings have gone, get them changed sooner rather than later as it'll be expensive if you have to replace the cups. The spider bearings are only about £15 each side
Thanks 1.8Stilo, I've got it up in the air now and I think you are right but it may be too late. It's knocking badly now and the shaft is moving about quite a lot when I tug on it.
Where can you get the bearings so cheap? Fiat quoted £178 each.
