Hi, my fiat 595 competizione's rear break lights are constantly on when i turn the vehicle on and when i dont apply the foot break. Is there a way of resolving this issue without taki g it to a dealership?
Many thanks
Matt

Under the passenger footwell where the link rod from the brake pedal connects to the servo is a white plastic plunger. There is a rod attached to it. When you put your foot on the brake pedal it pushes the plunger to illuminate the brake lights.

The plunger can get stuck down. Five minutes to fix.

Remove the connecting cable/rod and the white plastic part will twist about a quarter turn and come out. Get a pair of pliers and pull the plunger out until it clicks. It is then reset.

Reinstall and it will be fixed
