Hi all I've had my abarth now for 6 Months and I love it. The problem I have with it now is when I want to select 1st it's extremely difficult. It either won't go in or I have to select nuteral again and then put it into first. The car has only done 2800 miles.

If it's new and under warranty get it straight back to the dealers, I have just had to have the whole remote selector from the gearstick all the way to the box replaced on mine under warranty, mind you it's done 35k, but gear selection issues seem pretty common on the A500's!

I see a warranty claim in your future...

Just take it to the dealer

I've taken it back to the dealership and i'm now waiting on a new gearbox. They haven't given me the full details but it's pretty bad seeing as it's done less than 3000 miles.
