Hi guys, just to let you know that I am arranging another get together for the 21st August 2011. It will follow the proven successful format of previous years, links to which can be found below.

We start by meeting at a pub for coffeee and a chat to catch up with old friends and hopefully meet some new forum members. Then we head of for a drive through the beautifully scenic New Forest National Park led again by YellowLuigi with me being tailgunner in case anyone gets lost.

En route we will stop at a suitable viewpoint (commonly known as a car park) for a chance to take some nice photos before heading back for a Pub Lunch and a final chance to take photos and chat.

This will be our sixth get together and we hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend. I shall be sending out a PM to everyone who has attended previous meetings just in case they miss this thread and of course as soon as the details have been finalised it will be posted in the main EVENTS section where anyone attending can add themselves to the list.

This is an Off Topic post so feel free to add any comments and suggestions in here also ask any questions you feel are relevant. If you haven't attended one of these previously please take a look at the links above to get an idea of how much fun it can be, NFM 2 also has a video shot by notts of our convoy.

Its the local beer festival, a blues festival & the 21st is my Birthday, Theres very slim chance we may make the first part of the drive but its a very slim one as Im guessing sat night will be a long one

Just a reminder that anyone who thinks that they will be attending and would like to have a place reserved for lunch that they add themselves to the list of attendees, on the link below, before 14/08/2011, as that is when I have to confirm numbers with the Swan at Lyndhurst.

If for any reason you are unable to definitely confirm, you can still turn up at the Green Dragon on the Sunday morning. If you would like to join us for lunch then I will phone the Swan and try to reserve some more spaces, however, this will be subject to availability.

Update on times for meeting at Fleet Services. If anyone wants to travel down in convoy Mel will be there at 9.00AM and will be leaving at 9.15AM sharp to ensure that she arrives at the Green Dragon at abou 10.15AM.

Anyone wanting to do this please post in here before Friday 6.00PM and I will PM her to let her know the score. If I don't hear back then Mel will make her way to the meet by a different route.

Well, as it turns out Lloyd was able to confirm he will be here with his +1 on Sunday, so as it stands we have the following now confirmed attendees:

I shall be sending a Mass PM tomorrow evening just to confirm that everything is Kosher (no Lloyd, not the meat in the curry) and include my mobile number just in case anyone gets delayed and needs to rendezvous at another location. At the moment I am waiting for a replacement SIM but if it is not here in time I'll pair my spare phone to the car.

We found at MITCAR that the names badges were a good idea so I shall be be bringing some sticky labels to fill out and stick to you (except for RUI) as I didn't nick any of the blank badges from the FF tent, (mental reminder to do so next time).

Looking forward to meeting all the new members and catching up with the usual suspects.

Weather forecast looks good at the moment so hopefully it won't be a repeat of last year, although, saying that I have to admit, it was excitingly different.

Who would like to see Lloyd's car in all it's golden splendour or shall we make him buy RUI's car cover.

OK! The weekend is finally here so looking forward to giving the car a clean on Saturday ready for the Sunday meet up at the Green Dragon. The weather forecast looks promising so it seems as if we should get some nice photos as well as a drive through the New Forest National Park to boot.
