Technical 850/Panda discs interchangable?? Need discs for 850T Van

Hi,
I have an 850T Camper Van (similar running gear to 850 coupe) however it currently has drum brakes on the front. I have a Fiat Panda parts car and was wondering if I bought a set of calipers whether I could use the discs from the Panda! Also interested on your thoughts on the whole idea of changing the drums to discs. Braking on the van is not that great at the best of times so would like to change to discs if it is not too much of a mission.

Just found your post... did you get anywhere with your brake upgrade?
