See other post.. ;)

It has an incorrect motor fitted :(

I did wonder if that was the concern, Some of the 850's sold from Fiat dealers in the early to mid 70's were rebadged Seats, especially once the 127 was launched so seat engines do occur, they were all built to the same design/spec.

Tim

PS the reason i ask is i have a couple of FIAT 100g engines

Hi Timmy!
I bought the car recently having sat in a garage for over 22 years and the engine was totally seized. It has the 100g seat engine as from the factory. When i stripped it down the bores were exceptionally pitted and even the rocker shaft has rust welded itself together so i really need a total engine but do not necessarily need the ancilliaries. Can you help with a good engine and how much would you want for it. If you want my mobile number let me know or send me a contact number and i will call you. Thank you very much for your time Shaun

I have one. Complete with cilinder head, pan, engine mounts, valvecover etc. Was taken out of a running car. It is in Holland though..
