The rubber guard for the switch on the boot of my wife's 500x (2015) has come off and struggling to find a replacement part. The switch still works fine.

Does anyone know the item name/no or ideally any Web links for sites selling the part?

Your dealer shouldn't have a problem identifying and locating the part as several, including mine, were replaced under warranty having completely fallen off. Unfortunately (for you) I seem to recall that they replaced the entire boot handle assembly including the 500X logo.

Yep, thats what they did with mine, it was a 2015 model.

I doubt the rubber cover for the switch is available as a separate part more then likely it's only as part of the full.handle at a cost of £200+

I can confirm this. As I was told by my local dealership, the part is not sold or replaced separately, only the whole assembly, which is quite costly.
