On my intake manifold sits this pipe connection, with nothing on it. Does anyone in here know if this is normal, or is there a hose that has fallen off. Thanks in advance.
The engine is a 1.4 multiair

I think this just locates the plastic cover that has been taken off. If you look on the underside of the cover you'll see a plastic 'shroud' that fits on top of this to locate the cover. Cheers.

Do'nt think so. On my 500X there is I think only the one rubber bush mount for the engine cover and that is I'm pretty sure a metal ball head located centrally at the rear side of the engine/cover.

I zoomed the picture a little and still can't see if the item is hollow like a tube mount or blind.

Is it running o.K.? If yes, then nothing's wrong! If it was a vacuum takeoff it would idle like a box of frogs!

If it runs fine, would have to presume it's for the cover. I think some Fiats do have them attached to the intake manifold, as someone has fought with my engine cover at some point, and tore the entire bloody thing off, putting a whole in the manifold.
