I have decided to change my climate control panel due the quality of the plastic (sun hits the panel and it is full of small bubbles),so I bought a new original one on eBay for my 2016 500x.I have removed the old one and then connected the new one but as soon as I switch the engine on even the though all the knobs and buttons are working fine the temperature indicators on the first and third knob are flashing and along the mileage indicator...Any ideas?Faulty new panel or it has to be connected on Fiat’s computer for some kind of set up?

It is highly likely it needs a Proxi alignment to teach the new controls how to communicate with the rest of the car. A bit like putting the wifi password in to set up your home network.

This can be done with a program like MES which a lot of people on the forum use

As suggested a Proxi alignment should fix this problem.

I took the car to a Fiat specialist in my area,he was able to align the new climate control unit,which is working fine now but the mileage indicator is still flashing so I quess I need to take to a dealership and pay £60.Thank you for allyour help
