Hello, I have a 2017 Lounge (lhd), which has a fixed blanking plate in the glovebox, unlike my friend's 2016 model, which has the rotating plate.
I would like to know whether it is possible to "upgrade" mine to a cooled type.
Has anybody done this, and if so, is it a DIY or dealer job, and what costs are involved?

but in your position I would study the parts diagrams to see how many parts are different

Probably s pipe from the main airbox to the gloveboxe

Wouldn't be surprised if it means half the dash needs removing to fit it however
