I ve just notice that the gap the bonnet leaves when shut is not same at the passengers side. The gap is getting bigger closer to the hinges on the top of the bonnet. The drivers side seems to be ok. I am pretty sure that was not the case before. Any ideas?

A collision has distorted the bonnet or hinges.
Tight hinges are distorting each time the bonnet is opened or closed.
The buffers the bonnet sits on have moved. (unlikely, but always worth checking)
Loose hinge bolts.
The wing is falling off!
