I don't know what manual triptronic mode is, but I leave mine in full auto mode most of the time and get high 30s round town and 45-50mpg on motorways and fast A roads

Average over 10,000 Miles is 35.9 mpg but I do use Sport mode a lot at times!!

i live in sheffield yes its is hilly up and down but still only average 25mpg round town driving

driving slow and standard car mode

i know colder weather affects diesel cars due to additives but still not happy with mpg

owned since june 18 but thinking of trading in

still under warrenty but dont rate stoneacre my local fiat garage

I have now done 14000 miles in 12 months of owning my 2.0 diesel 4x4 cross auto. On my frequent longer motorway/A road runs, 47-49 is the norm, on short runs 41-43 is typical. I use auto mode all the time, and Sport purely for overtaking. Mpg in this car is very sensitive to the type of journey, unlike my Mini Countryman All4 CooperD, which achieved the same figures consistently. Figure in the high 20's sound very disappointing. I am in Northern Ireland/Donegal, where there is little congestion, but plenty of hills!

My local dealer is a different branch of Stoneacre and they could not have been better. My main problem with the car was eventually traced to a misbehaving sensor that the diagnostic computer was not picking up. The car ran rough when cold but perfectly well when warm. If that sounds like your problem message me and I'll give you more info.

car not showing any faults or lights on the dash
just seems heavy on fuel now using trip meter rather than the computer

looking likei will get around 250 to the full tank at present

which still seems very poor

I had no warning lights at all and the diagnostics didn't pick it up. It was just a case of convincing the dealership that there was a fault and then identifying it. The problem was a sensor that was sending the wrong information. Diagnostics identified it as working because it was sending info, they didn't check the info being sent
