Well to update you all on this issue I have with my car, I've taken it to the Main Dealer who i bought it from, they have run a Diagnostic on it, and have confirmed that it is the Clutch that is slipping.
It is going into the shop in 2 weeks time to have it replaced.
They have said to me that upon inspection of the clutch they will determine whether it can be replaced under warranty or if I need to pay, of course I assume given that statment that whatever the condition of the clutch they are going to find a way to blame me and charge me for it.
The car has done 26k miles over 2 years from new, I only do extra urban driving, so close to bumper to bumper commuting, and then dual carriageway and motorway driving on occasions at weekends and evenings..
Should I be charged for this? Has anybody else had any experiences of this with thier car and was it replaced under warranty or did you have to pay for it?
