Couple of days back I took my car for the 40,000 km servicing. It was routine oil change , filter and front rear brake pads replacement. however, we I got my car from the service center I realized that the dashboard was showing strange and unusual fault signals and it was like the Christmas tree.

I swayed back to the service center as they kept the car for almost a day to rectify these faults.

However, since two days , I see these error signals showing repetitively as it goes off and on all the way driving the car.

Does anyone have any clue what happened to my car and what is the problem?

Did the dealer clear the faults from the ECU? I've had the Christmas Tree effect before but no faults were found or stored. If they were cleared and reappeared I can only assume there is some kind of fault. I can only suggest that you take it back to the dealer PDQ and explain.

This is amazing! Get it back to the service and tell them to fix it like they mean it this time.

Agreed. I don't know which country you are in, but my car has done 30,000 miles (nearly 50000 km) and the pads are nowhere near needing replacing, front or rear. Plus, more importantly, what sort of dealer lets a car out of the workshops with faults like those showing. Shoddy. If no joy a complaint to Fiat should follow

25k for front pads normal depending on your driving style would expect rears to last a bit longer tho? Stripping and greasing the calipars is standard 2 a service I would check your invoice and check the cheeky .... aint charged u time for changing em. As to ur Christmas tree effect these are all tied in2 the wirings loom below ur seat. Now I'm just putting it out there, but is it not possible the mechanic altered your seat pulling on that loom which happens 2b tied to the bottom of ur seat???? Check the plugs aint been tugged loose pal

top red light handbrake?yellow light is pad wear indicator? Or low brake fluid. which I'm guessing wasn't on before they told you needed brakes? if it's on now i can guarantee it's down 2 them. Air bag fault would need confirming but I favour under drivers seat.

Well he must be stamping on the brakes all day long.... I’ve done nearly 36000 miles and they are not even halfway worn.....

Agreed, not denying they haven't had his pants down. I think they probably took so long doing the service that they sore the opportunity 2 charge more hours. the brakes are stripped as part of a service y not charge another 4 hours and new pads 2 put em back together??????

Thank you for the information provided. I took my car back to the dealer and they admitted that there is a faulty switch under the driver seat and also a sensor which is related with the rear brake . However they are saying it needs a month to get the inquired item. Once in hands they will recall the car back. The most funny part is that till now I don’t understand why they have hampered these items and they got nothing to do with the routine services, so unprofessional!!
By the way where I live the roads are uphill and down hill and we consume brakes like hell.

4 hours to replace the pads? Shouldn't even take an hour with the proper tool's
