Hi was just wondering if my alloys are diamond cut or just painted. Iamgunna them painted all matte black. IMG_8089.JPG

Cheers Jon

I'm not convinced the white sections are diamond cut to bare alloys and then lacquered (a recipe for all sorts of corrosion issues.

My wheels are the same, coming up to 3 years old and looking like ne except for one *very* minor on the front N/S rim.

I think the white (well dull silverfish finish) is a rather good powder coat/paint job.

I think I have seen the "diamond cut" reference used in the past.

The cross wheels on mine I like. they have that dull silver powder coat but its around the edges on the holes where the dirt accumulates, and while they never look bright shiny and pristine, they also never look really dirty, the mix of colours in the right places seems to camouflage it.

We have those Cross Plus 18" Alloys. I'm sure the face edges are Diamond-cut - they are a bare metal coated finish. Mine come up nearly mirrored when clean. Obviously the secondary spokes are grey painted though.
