General All weather mode -what’s traction control

It's a bit unexpected, but when you switch to Sport or All Weather, the display states "Engine Mode: Performance". However, the throttle response is far softer in AW than in Sport, but pressing it harder gives more go than Auto.

Hope you are right S130. I leave my Lounge in "All Weather" mode because it allegedly sets the engine to "Performance" mode, whereas "Auto" sets the engine to Eco, which as you say is too soft.
I'm annoyed that I didn't notice whether the 124 Spider they lent me during some warranty repairs had different driving modes. Whichever it was set to gave a much nicer throttle response than any of the 500x modes, with the same engine. We can hope that Fiat have gone for something similar with the new fixed mode.

I’ve just looked at mine and never noticed eco in auto mode. I always used auto mode because I preferred the steering set to comfort. I’m gonna try it in all weather now. I didn’t like the steering when in sport mode.

I think I was the first person to spot the performance engine setting in all weather mode. Not that I'm smug or anything! Been driving mine in that mode for nearly a year now.

And from looking through the sheets of Italian spot the difference, I just have to say that it's making FIAT's cost cutting seems almost desperate now. Normally manufacturers throw in kit for a mid life refresh, in order to keep people coming to the showrooms whilst rivals launch newer models.

But losing chrome strips, getting the same fuel cap as other vehicles in the range, no seat back map pockets, more black plastic in lieu of rear bumper paint, no puddle lights, no questionable drive mood selector.

And when I looked on the configurator yesterday, the top of the range mirror edition has a fair few cuts over the former lounge spec.

Except the bi-xenon lights are back! Does seem strange to have replaced the range topping trim with what looks like a special edition. Wonder what they will do next month?
Meanwhile I"ll just continue enjoying my 2015 Lounge.
