I have a major service due in the next couple of months/ 4K miles. Called local fiat dealer advised it needs major service at at cost of £350. Just looked online and fiats website have an online appointment booking system.

The main fiat site is quoting £250.00 all in for a major service?

Anyone know what the crack is here? It’s a nice saving but not sure why it’s cheaper.

Book via FIAT to get a better rate and then check with the dealer as to what the extra is for.

If it's for the same, cancel the dealer is what I'd do.

Well, call me Mr Muggins but I paid £377 for a full service last week on my 1.4 MA Lounge. This included oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs and brake fluid. A courtesy car was included and I was given 1 year's breakdown cover. This was at a large Fiat dealer to the west of London so I expected the price to be high.

I used this garage because I bought my previous Fiat from them and they were always efficient and helpful. The garage I got the (used) 500X from fell down in that department.

At the end of the day, you go with the deal you are happy with.

Mine (full inc. plugs and brake fluid) cost me £285 in Aug 2017. I did haggle with a nudge and a wink.
