Congratulations and welcome :) Glad you are enjoying your new car.

The 500x is, on the whole, a solid car by most accounts. It's also solidly Italian so there will no doubt be the odd irritation and quality assurance worry when you get over the new car elation.

Done nearly 20k miles in a 2l Auto 4x4 Cross Plus and I love it. It has had some annoying gremlins, but Fiat spent a small fortune sorting them out and it's simply a great car now

What was wrong?? Jus so I know if it happens to mine

The main (and most expensive for FIAT) was a dodgy sensor in the Common Rail. Rather than failing completely it kept telling the ECU it was hot when it was actually cold. Working but sending wrong info, so diagnostics didn't pick it up. They changed all 4 injectors and the Common Rail to fix that. The other expensive fault was a leaking gasket on the thermostat housing. The labour costs to change a 50p part were staggering.

All fixed under warranty with no arguments. Car runs like a dream, love it
