Hi, I got problem with 2015 fiat 500x cross, I can't make it start couple times a week, but other days with no issue. It seems like weak battery, but after 5min trying it starts fine dash is full of errors when it's happening. I booked a test for battery at halfords and mechanic told me it's all good, so i don't know what's happening. Please help!

That’s how mine was before the battery went completely . Began with the odd warning light then auto brake warning lights then onto no start! Fiat diagnosed dead cell in battery and replaced under warranty. Car was 13 months old! Waited weeks for new one from Italy. Even though car has three years warranty from new the battery is only two! I will remember this when my car is out of warranty.

It may be worthwhile checking all the connections to the battery are good and tight, there have been previous threads where this produces the same problems, but when fixed all is OK. Worth a check befire shelling out for a new battery.

I got the vehicle in August 31. Problem started after 20 days of the vehicle delivery. They are telling due to earthing problem car is not starting. Not convinced the answer whatever they told. Could anyone share me the emails for the fiat company department heads.

My panda did this a couple of months ago. I started the engine up and undid the earth clamp on the battery. The engine stopped meaning the alternator was'nt working. I replaced the alternator bushes £4.98p from ebay and redid the test. Not one problem since.
