Hi all, just got my 500x last week and learning all the bits and bobs. My mirrors don't seem to auto fold when locking the door. Is this a setting I can turn on somehow or is it just not part of how it works on this model. I've got used to our other car automatically doing it.

The mirrors on mine don't autofold, but there isa manual button on the mirror control unit on the driver's door. From memory it's oblong and the bottom button. Press and hold to fold in, and to restore to original position. I think the ignition needs to be on to do this

Correct, and this makes the feature a complete waste of money.
Park up at the side of the road, press button to fold mirrors, switch ignition off, look in mirror to check nothings coming before you open the door... oops it seems to be folded so I can't see anything!
Designed to be folded whilst driving along narrow Italian streets, but not to protect mirrors when parked in the UK,
Needs to be controlled via the key fob.

I have just bought a Fiat Doblo Easy but can't work out how to fold the door mirrors in. There isn't a position on the ignition to move the key to as per manual

In my case mirrors are folded only by hand, no button or anything.

Mine too. At least I am getting some exercise walking around the car!

My previous car was a Fiesta Titanium X with all the bells and whistles. The folding mirrors, whilst missed, aren't anywhere near as missed as the automatic lights, wipers and dimming rear view mirror!

I got auto lights, wipers and dipping mirror. Is it no longer an option?

It is an option for those who buy a brand new car. For those who buy pre-registered cars on the other hand...

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect these options on a top spec car as standard, but for whatever reason FIAT chose to include puddle lights, a useless air conditioned glove box and dual zone climate control. All of which I'd happily sacrifice for the aforementioned.

I bought mine 'almost new' and was fortunate to have all of the above plus a few more
