Aye.. 500X has been noted as jiggly. A friend of mine had a hired one and didn't like that aspect. I had a hired one and I never noticed anything unusual.. so I guess it's what you're used to or potentially the tyres it has on it.
Fiat suspension is notoriously cheap though... not so much the quality; I've had dampers last between 150k and 185k on three different cars... but it's just not the last word in sophistication. I think they gets away with it in Europe but in the UK, with our more pronounced road crowns and coarser tarmac, they tend to get itchy.
Smaller wheels with higher profile tyres helps.. but otherwise stick 35-section 18"s on there.. collect lolly sticks... and give them to your passengers to place between their teeth whenever they come for a ride... at least the car will look cool..
