Saw a yellow 500x in the flesh for the first time last weekend in Cambridgeshire. Not sure about the colour (and I'm a confirmed yellow car fan - I'm currently on my fifth!). It looks like it's trying too hard to be chic, if that makes sense. I can't help feeling the 500x would look better in a solid yellow.
 
Im off to see a yellow cross plus in Norwich this week, I love the pictures but I still am unsure about the colour! It appears to be a rare colour, and it will certainly stand out.. but not sure if I want to be seen driving it yet :S

They certainly are charging the price for a rare tri-colour option paint. Try to get £500 off the sticker price.

I had thought the price was a bit steep too! May be a struggle but I did find one down the road from there in white, and that was cheaper and had the 6.5" screen.

The 5" screen in the yellow one is really putting me off, but after browsing the forum for few hours yesterday, it appears there's a possibility of changing this out if I don't like. Well and the price is steep too but we did buy another car from there last week, so they better be giving me a discount?

If you are thinking of the white one at CarStore the pricing is better value.
 
Yes the Yellow was one of the Tri-coat expensive colour options new along with Amore Red. Both look terrific to me. I wouldn't say it would affect resale - in fact a friend of mine has just specifically sought out a Yellow Cross.
