After having owned a normal 500 for 6 years I am thinking of upgrading it to an 500X. The thing is my next car has to have certain extras otherwise its not getting considered. Does anyone know if the 500X has Cruise control? On the configurator I don't see the option. How about folding mirrors? I see you can opted for heated windscreen which ticks one of my boxes.

Cruise control should be standard (it is Denmark) and we can buy folding side mirrors as part of a package (called something like Vision - it includes rainsensor, lightsensor, automatic dimming rearview mirror and folding side mirrors).

Edit: I can see it's called Visibilty Pack in the UK. It says it includes heated door mirrors, but they should be standard on all models, so I suspect they got it wrong and it should say folding side mirrors :)

Cruise control is standard but I do not see any mention of heated door mirrors on the different trim you can get which I would have thought they would have mentioned it in there, then again I guess it is Fiat.


It could just be a typo of course and indeed as suggested be folding mirrors and not heated.

By folding mirrors are you talking about folding them in by hand? I am on the assumption you are talking about electrically folding mirrors. looking at pictures it would seem like you can do this by hand

I think we're talking about electrically folding mirrors. Fiat have used manually folding mirrors for the last 30 years (at least) as standard.
In a car like the 500X, I'm 99,99% sure the mirrors are heated on all versions.
 
I found out today that cruise control is standard across the range and electric folding mirrors is part a winter pack. So that's good news. I was disappointed to discover the 170bhp isn't offered in the UK.
 
UK car spec electric folding mirrors are not in winter pack but visibility pack. Small button below the electric adjustment joypad, disappointed no button on remote for this.

Please see my other post re winter pack re heated screen.

You'll probably be able to buy some module to make them close when to lock the car, and open when you start it, like you can for Toyota's :)

Oops. My bad. Thanks for that info. That option is a waste of money then.
 
Not really if you want the auto lights and wiper system. Quick press of the button and the mirrors fold in for you, good if it's pouring down with rain like it is in Scotland every day. Also the electro centre mirror is part of the pack.

Uconnect is on all new FCA cars. It does require the car having cellular access though and not all models with Uconnect do.
 
hi. cruise control is standard. heated mirrors is standard. electrical folding mirrors are in Visibility Pack. I ordered that so i know
