Hi folks, I have a question that I’m sure some among you will be able to help....
I need to buy a replacement steering angle sensor for a fiat 500. I’ve entered the licence plate and vin number on a couple of sites but I’m then presented with different options. How do I know which part is correct.... they have differing numbers of connectors and lead lengths, all seem to come from Germany so I’d like to get it right first time.
Any advice or even a link to a site where I can get help would be terrific.

Thank you

The best way is to take out your sensor first, it's an easy job and you'll have to do it anyway to put the new one in. That way you'll learn how to do it and you'll find complete info on the sensor you have. The cable's color is a detail that could help you if you dont't want to take the sensor out untill you get the new one.
If you take the sensor out, you can put everything back together and you will be able to drive the car before you get the new sensor. You will just not have any assistance help from the EPS.

Sounds like a plan. Thought it might be a bit tricky having to calibrate it. I’ll take a look, YouTube normally helps with instructions. Thank you

You don't need to calibrate untill you put the new sensor in. If you have the OBD2 scanner, the calibration is really easy. If not, you'll have to find someone who has one.
But you can drive without calibration untill you get the new sensor.
