My 2014 500L Trekking only has 50k miles but the paint is oxidizing all over the car. Body shop says this is very common with Fiats, they see 2 to 3 cars a day with the same problem!!

$9000.00 to repaint!!!!!

Update: Maaco says all Fiats are losing their paint because they used the wrong sealer. Have to take it down to the bare metal, re-seal and re-paint.

There should have been a recall.

What age is this car..?

Is it Built in the Americas.. or Eastern Europe..??

2014 with 50,000 miles. Auto Body shop says all late model years, 2013,14,15,16... have the same problem.

Weve not seen that with the European built ones

So maybe a PPG thing..

Is your car out of warranty already? Have you asked Fiat?
