Hi all 500L enthusiasts!
My name is Michel from The Netherlands and i drive the 500L for about 7 years now. I started with the 500L Popstar Cappuccino and currently i drive the 500L Cross 0.9 Twin Air with quite some options. I really enjoy the car. It's handling, reliability etc. At this moment i have almost 60.000K (37000 Miles) on the clock without any problems.
Sometimes i wonder what the maximum mileage could be for a two cylinder 0.9 CC engine as the TwinAir in my 500L Cross.
My family (Wife and son) and i travel from Holland to Italy each year. This year we plan to travel to Italy again if it is allowed and safe to do so due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
We purchased a carrier to be installed on our towbar for our 3 mountainbikes. Does anyone of you have any experience with transporting bicycles on the 500L on the towbar? According to the owners manual it should not be a problem. But it would be great to receive some feedback from drivers with the real time experience.
And also, what do you think that would be the maximum mileage for the 0.9CC TwinAir engine? I have seen some 550L's for sale with over 195000 Km's (121000 Miles)
I wonder.....
Till now, i am very happy with my 500L Cross! Hopefully many years more to add!....
