We bought a switched cable but do not have any drivers for it.

Can someone point us to a download for the drivers and tell us what settings to use ?

There were several linked in my cheap ebay cables bundle... but that was years ago.

I think our 500L only supports the modified ELM or genuine ELM interfaces, preferably modified versions which allow CAN access. (Usually a bit expensive than usual cheap Elm interfaces, also has PIC chip)

Unless you do not have a 500L?

In any case, yeah find the device Hardwares ID in device manager and then google drivers for that device (sometimes Windows Update can find drivers if you right click on the device and press Update Driver and Search for Drivers using Windows Update).
