I have a 2014 500l trekking. I was driving today and came up to a stop sign and the car shut off. I tried to start the car back up but it would only turn over but wouldn't start. I scanned the car and got the below codes.

P0299 Turbo underboost
P2262 Turbo boost pressure not detected
P0342 camshaft sensor low input
P0343 camshaft sensor high input

Would this be a faulty camshaft position sensor?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks Ralf, Can you explain where the sensor is located. Is it under the car on driverside?

Aye.. usually down by the crankshaft pulley, or up near the camshaft pulley. Some cars have one in each location (but I have no idea why... maybe for cars with variable cam timing?).

Anyway, 130k miles is plenty enough for the sensor(s) to be the culprit. They're solid state so they don't wear out as such but eventually something breaks down and they start cutting out.
