All of a sudden my Fiat 500 twinair 2014 boot would not open. I have seen a few posts here with a similar problem and one had the wiring loom all torn up and another the handle switch was not working. Mine seem to be fine in both departments. I’ve checked the little switch with a meter and it is working. I have also check to see if a supply is coming to the purple and black wires on the lock itself but nothing is coming. I have as yet not split open the rubber covering the harness entering the tailgate but it doesn’t seem to be in a bad condition. I hardly use the car and is in great condition, I’m a biker and use my bikes daily for everything else. The car is only used for shopping or to take the kids to school.
I was wondering if anyone here has a wiring diagram or the whole list of fuses in the engine bay. I’m guessing that there is a dedicated fuse which might have blown. I will remove and check them all one by one next but it’s nice to know what is what.
