Hi,

After the parking assist failed on my 2016 MPW, my wife nudged a wall and scuffed the rear bumper. I've seen a part online that looks like what I need to replace but the supplier needs the official Fiat part number to confirm that it will fit my car. My local Fiat dealership are a pretty belligerent bunch and will not supply any information. Fiat Uk say they do not have access to the parts system and that I need to contact my local dealer.

Does anybody have access to the parts system to confirm the number please? I am after the RH bumper trim that surrounds the fog light on a 2016 500l MPW. IMG_0955.JPG

The photo shows the part which looks just what I want. Not sure if there was any shading changes over the model run or other minor differences I might miss.

Thanks very much

You can browse a parts catalogue for the 500L here:

https://www.fiatdalys.lt/en

If you don't have your VIN to hand select "Use Model Wizard", then "500" from the model list, then "500L (2012...)". Finally enter your engine size etc and you'll be into the catalogue. Then go to "Outer Accessories" and scroll down to "Rear Bumper".

Looks like there are a few variations for the bumper trim. Hopefully the Supplementary Info will help you to identify the correct part number.

An alternative would have been to use an unofficial Fiat ePer system off the web.

A simple search engine result would give a web server running such software, ensure it is >2012ish so that it includes the 500L. There could be variants in designs as well so be sure to use the VIN whenever possible or your variant style if you know this.

Anyway, this is under this category on ePer:
Fiat » 500L » 73 500L (2012-....) » 707 OUTER ACCESSORIES » 70727 REAR BUMPER » 70727-010 REAR BUMPER

VARIANT 1
LL0 - TRIM LEVEL:pOP (EX NATION)
LL1 - TRIM LEVEL:EASY (EX WORLD)
LL2 - TRIM LEVEL:LOUNGE (EX UNIVERSE)
LL9 - TRIM LEVEL:pOP STAR

So the right trim one would be:

PART:3 PART NO:735559351 NAME:ORNAMENT RIGHT

So the left trim one would be:

PART:4 PART NO:735559352 NAME:ORNAMENT LEFT

VARIANT 2
LL11 - TRIM LEVEL:TREKKING

PART 3 (LEFT)

OR
3 735611288 ORNAMENT RIGHT 4D0 SPECIAL PACK ONE

PART 4 (RIGHT)

PART 4 (LEFT)

I am sure a reputable dealership would help you find the correct parts but from my experience, they're stealerships, they stole my tools in the boot and did unnecessary changes to my vehicle's modules through their flash tools (n)

Thanks again.
I went into the dealership to get the parking assist fixed under the warranty. But as it's been working the past few days, they said there was nothing they could do. Apparently there were no codes in the computer. But they did give me a code for the part.

Actually the dealership price was a few pennies cheaper than the eBay price. That was a shock. Of course its impossible to get anything in a single visit to the dealership and they are a good half an hour away. But I will support them because I don't want them assuming that just because they've given out a part number they have lost business.

Yep, that last part is actually a bit true. These resellers on eBay and various other marketplaces sell Fiat parts a bit more than the stealerships and if they are genuine is more questionable. For me, my dealership used to be a five minute drive but they closed down due to lack of sales and now I got to travel half an hour away too if I ever want to visit them.

Oh well, at-least its fixed (y)
