I ran over a racoon the other night, very loud band underneath center of car. I noticed that when I climbed hill, or accelerated immediately after I heard noise, just when the turbo would kick in, but, once I get to like 2800 rpm or if the uphill grade got steep I would lose power the more I pressed the accelerator, if I back off accelerator it would barely maintain speed.
I am wondering if the impact some how loosened a hose on the turbo, affecting back pressure, or something? Also when I pushed the issue (accelerator), the engine light came on.
Any ideas?
