Oh yes, sorry, it seems that I read over this post. Thank you! It confused me that only one downloadable update package is namend with CO NAV and the others are without NAV.Do you mean the TomTom version?

I think I will try to skip the update to version 13.00.78.01 because some had problems with that. So the way to go is from 12.00.24.04 to 13.00.57.05 to 13.00.74.00 to 13.00.80.01 now.

How do I find which version of software I have on my uconnect 5" for my 2013 Fiat 500 XL?

We’ve just got a 2014 Fiat 500L and I’ve managed to upgrade the software from v 4.01.38.00 to 12.00.24.01 but can't seem to get it to anything higher. 12.00.24.04 and anything 13.x all display 'Software not compatible' error. Am I doing something wrong? We have a uConnect 5" without SatNav if that helps

Hi, I have a 2015 Fiat 500x with the Uconnect 5".
I recently changed the car battery and after this i began having some issues with my radio system.
It turns off and on repeated every 5-10 minutes or so.
I have downloaded all the software updates available here, however, the USB connector does not seem to connect with any USB i put in to download the updates (Formatted to FAT 32).
If i connect a USB cable for Iphone nothing connects and it doesn't charge the phone either.
However, if connect an android phone it does charge.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i could fix this?

OK...I'm about to embark on updating the firmware in the good wife's 500C cos the bluetooth is not good at connecting with her new phone. From what I have read there's no going back once you update forward, however there are no maps included in the later updates. Is there a thread on where/how to get the TomTom maps back if I install the latest 13.... version firmware?

I managed to enter engineering mode and my baseline version is 10.01.03.00 (hardware release 0.0.3.1 and firmware release 0.0.0.2)

we've got a big problem with our uncconect 5 in a Fiat 500 L.
The first one was stuck at the Fiat Logo and nothing could be done. So I've bought a new (old) one from someone in Italy.
This was the Fiat 330 VP DAB ECE Nav (the first one was without NAV).
After replacing the old unit, we had Problems with the can bus. I thought that we should try to make a Firmware update but since then we always get error code 250. The Update starts and runs for about 30 minutes and then it stucks.
We've tried to update it with different USB Sticks and with different versions. It's always error code 250 after about 30 minutes.
Proxy Alignment isn't working either. We get an error with that aswell.
Has anybody ever solved this problem and can help us?

My Radio version was 06.x.x.
I did the Update Path from @TruEnemy --> So the way to go is from 12.00.24.04 to 13.00.57.05 then 13.00.74.00 to 13.00.80.01.
Everything works great! Especially the DAB works now! Hallelujah!

Hi all need some help updating firmware on my 2015 500L keeps turning off every few minutes so was hoping this would resolve it
Base number is 06.0048.01 so needs updated I think
Every time I connect usb stick it says files not supported tried 3 different usb sticks 2 don’t work at all and 1 says files not supported
I’ve downloaded nearly every version today and no luck
Any ideas?
