Blue smoke

Hi All

Our 63 plate Fiat 500l has developed yet another fault. Two weeks ago whilst driving down the local dual carriage way I glanced in the mirror and was horrified to see blue smoke pouring out from behind the car, before could get to safe place to park it stopped about 30 seconds I suppose. Well I did a quick check and drove home checked the oil the next morning and it was okay. That was two weeks ago and it has not done it again until lunch time today again blue smoke pouring out of the car, again lasted about 30 seconds then gone this time after checking over the car I drove about 40 miles round trip and it did not do it again. In both instances the car had been started from cold and driven about 5 minutes before joining the dual carriage way and the blue smoke. Checked tonight before it was to dark oil level looks okay certainly not on minimum level. We have had the car from new so no it's history its done 45000 by the way. Any idea's I'm hoping it's not the Turbo

Yes, sometimes twice a day. It's mileage dependant.

Re: Blue smoke

Pop the instantaneous consumption on and see if its chewing through fuel like its going out of fashion.

Will be regen if it does.
