Just px'ed my 2014 500L 1.3 MPW diesel Popstar for a new petrol Suzuki Vitara SZ5. I had the Fiat 20 months with no problems (at least, not until Stoneacre got their hands on it!), but unfortunately, depreciation was pretty steep. Bought at 13 months old with 3300miles on the clock (Ex-Motability) and sold at 18000, paid £10500, px was £6600 for a £17500 car less than 3 years old ( dealer gave £100 more than 'Webuyanycar). I guess the UK Governments change of attitude to diesel cars has resulted in them becoming 'Persona non grata' and making diesel car owners feel like lepers in present society. I have also heard that some dealers are refusing to accept diesel cars in px thanks to this, so diesel Fiat owners beware, and either think about getting rid quickly whilst you can, or be prepared to keep it until it's time for the scrapheap and worth zilch!
