I've got an annoying intermittent fault with the large speaker in the passenger door. It's starting buzzing very loudly for a few hours then stopping.

Has anyone had this happen? The car is still under warranty but I'm not sure if the audio system is covered.
 
I have had a similar fault in my drivers door large speaker. It was crackling/buzzing and went silent intermittantly, it was replaced under warranty, so yes the audio system is covered. Out of interest I was told the speaker is a 'sealed unit' and couldnt be 'repaired', as I thought mine had maybe just a loose wire. A new one was ordered and fitted in about a week.:)
 
I hate me too posts, but I had a similarly buzzing speaker in my MPW on delivery in April. Changed by dealer a few days later.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have to demonstrate the fault? Typically the problem has stopped since I booked the car in!

I did have to demonstrat. Even if it's not playing up, take it in anyway and say it's intermittent.
