I recently received a larger, custom console, manufactured in italy, to replace the center armrest. I knew this new console installs, by snapping into the lower area where the center armrest is removed, and adding2 screws to stabilize the unit. Now that's pretty simple. However, when I looked over, the fastening of the oem center console, I did not see, any particular fasteners, to remove the original armrest. Has anyone removed the center armrest before? If so, could you give me any tips to accomplish this?

Where did you buy the new armrest ? (sorry I cant help with the removal of the old one)

As I said I couldn't get the actual link posted. However I copied the info, without it being a link. But it should help in your search for a nice console. You can option it with full grade leather, led lighting, n more. It's very well made.. Mine cost $170 delivered. Tunraround was only about two weeks from order date.
