Technical Towing with 500L

We bought a 2015 500L and were told we could put a class one hitch on it and tow a camper. I have picked out a camper I would like to have but I am doing my due diligence and trying to find anything I can about Fiats towing anything. Has anyone had any experience in towing with a Fiat? Does it affect the warranty?

hi ten years ago i bought a fiat 1.3 mj doblo family i also wanted to tow i went back to fiat and asked if it was ok. They said it was fine, i was worried cos the car was new so i had a new folding camper weighed close to a ton and it pulled it brilliant since then ive towed allsorts never go beyond its limits though got a new TA 500l now but still got doblo
