Has anybody found any covers that will fit the 500L ok? Does not seem to be a huge amount out there. Google just brings a ton up for the 500 and those I do manage to find tend to be universal fit, which I do not mind but I find the headrests are the biggest problem with these ones.

Sorry, Chips1 you are correct, I only got my Fiat 500l on Monday and had a quick flick through the fiat shop, I am surprised they don't sell them as the car has been on the go a few years now! I will be looking to put covers on too and will search around, please keep me informed if you find any and I will do likewise. Cheers Davie

I dread to think of the cost should Fiat bring out seat covers.

I will end up going down the universal route and hope I can get a decent fitting one, however the only issue will be the headrests as mentioned in my previous post.

Hope you are enjoying your 500L :)

Absolutely loving it!!! Had a panda TA with large roofbox for holiday case's which I traded in - it was a cracking car too but can't believe the space in the 500l,won't need roofbars now! The Panda had 5 seats (3 headrests in back) which the universal covers fitted but the 500l is a fair bit wider. Good luck with your search. Davie

I have a roof box for when we go off camping as the extra storage comes in handy with all the gear we have to pit in.

Found this but still not sure about headrests or even just a plain cover for the seats in the back, a bit of colour would be nice lol

Smart covers, see they come from Italy as well! Looks like its for two headrests in the back only, dont all 500l's have three back headrests? Davie

Mine has two headrests for the back. Just looked on the Fiat site and see the pictures showing three. Guess the newer ones are like that now

Amazon have got pretty good for non-technical car bits:

I'd have thought that FIAT themselves would have been able to supply something, if you don't mind paying the price. A few weeks after I first got my Panda MJ, it became quite obvious that the light blue seats were going to get grubby pretty quickly and found some official FIAT accessories that were fitted. Bought some there and then and if it wasn't for Mrs. Beard throwing a fag end out of the window......that promptly came in the back window, I'd still be using them. The rear window was open to give the dog some air and the give away came with the smell of singed fur and the dog quietly getting up and moving to the other side of the back seat. Later on one of her daft mates did the same thing again, so that was two burn holes in the seat cover and two in the seat cushion.

I replaced them and as they were the only fitted seat covers I could find on t'internet, had to get the same again. The only down side was the fact that the were about £80. Apart from the burns, the only problem with the old covers was the fact that they'd faded slightly, which after 10 years and 98,000 miles isn't bad.

Well here are the before and after pics of the seat covers. These are a universal fit but the rear back rest is massive, there was so much left over it had to be tucked around the back. I had to cut out a section for the seat belt clips and then try and tuck this around but as it is into the seat itself it does not stay there very well with kids in and out.

The fixings around the back will be interesting when I need to fold one of the rear seats as everything is attached.

It will do the job for now, and in all honesty even if there were a genuine cover for this I would not want to spend the money they would want.
