Its an old post
But yes Distribution is the FIAT term for valvetrain
And the chains life is @120,000 miles
Oil quality is key.. as it is oil damped..
Poor tension control:accelerated wear

That's 98000 miles. Is it mostly highway mileage, perhaps?
How's your car reliability so far? On my 2014, I had to replace the airbag ECU recently and clutch+dual-mass flywheel (48000 miles =77200 km).

My Fiat 500L it's the 0,9 Twinair Petrol, not JTD diesel
It's the same type of chain?
I have it since 2018 and about 6000kms. I imported from Germany. I think it was used mostly on highway.
Zero problems till now, hope continues with no problems
