General 500L Twinair, no longer available?

Hello there,

Did you mean the timing (cam) chain? I believe the idea is that it should last as long as the car.

What year is your 500L TA and how much on the clock?

Hello

My 500L it's from 2014 and count 157000kms

I dont find exact information about this issue :(

Hi.

Its an old post ;)

But yes Distribution is the FIAT term for valvetrain

And the chains life is @120,000 miles

Oil quality is key.. as it is oil damped..

Poor tension control:accelerated wear

Hi there

Thanks for the replie.
Where did you find that information about chains life?

Thanks

That's 98000 miles. Is it mostly highway mileage, perhaps?

How's your car reliability so far? On my 2014, I had to replace the airbag ECU recently and clutch+dual-mass flywheel (48000 miles =77200 km).

I have it since 2018 and about 6000kms. I imported from Germany. I think it was used mostly on highway.

Zero problems till now, hope continues with no problems ;)
