I think it's beautiful. Mine is red too, but with a black roof. It makes me terribly happy to look at and to drive.

I come down firmly on the "it's ugly" side of the fence. It looks a lot like a small commercial van especially in white which may well be why fiat were keen not to put to many white ones in marketing materials.

The old multipla was ugly but anyone who ever drove one fell instantly in love because fiat threw the rule book out of the window and built a really clever car, the 500L was never able to live up to that, very poor engine options and lined it up to be a bigger 500 and pitched it against mini's hugely successful countryman.

Basically in the UK it was never going to do well, though I understand things were much better in Europe especially Italy.

Now I see them on the forecourt up the road (main dealer) under two years old and £10,000-12,000 less than new price which doesn't look good for the future
