I have owned my 500L Easy 1.6 diesel for five months now and am pleased with it.

Normal driving shows 52.8 mpg on average with a best of 62.2 mpg on a long largely dual carriageway and "A" road 100 mile journey.

How does this compare with your diesel engined 500L, 1.3 or 1.6?

A neighbour who has a new shape Nissan Note 1.5 dci boasts of 65 mpg plus.

Our 500L Trekking with the 1.6 has got 49mpg over the past 9000 miles, but typically it gets used for school run / town centre stuff during the week, and only gets taken on a run at the weekends. We've seen over 60mpg on longer journeys, but with ours having the winter/off-road tyres, it's supposed to be a little bit worse than the regular 500L for mpg
