Technical new to fiat

just got my first fiat 2014 500l easy am very impressed with it. Will be pulling it behind my motorhome . In manual says to use 5w 40 I use mobile 1 in all my autos what is this euro 0w 40 will this oil be ok most of driving is in hot weather

Welcome to the forum and the world of FIAT 500L ownership.

As to the oil choice, personally I always use the exact spec. as stated by the manufacturer in case they ever wanted to find any reason to wriggle out of a warranty claim on some serious fault with the engine.

OK they may never discover the wrong spec. has been used and it's a possibly unlikely scenario but I don't like giving any body 'wriggle room' if I can avoid it.
