This morning it didn't start, granted it is super cold out, does anyone use their engine block heater and if so does it help? I have already had the tranny in for a repair (car is at 2400KM) and sensing this car may be a wee high-maintenance in the winter...

I try to use the block heater on the colder nights here in Ottawa. The plug rests nicely i front of my left headlight (sarcasm).
Tranny lights/check engine seem to be a too common theme with this car. Mine is having it's Transmission Module replaced tomorrow, 12,000km (started at 6,000). Let's see how that works out.
I can't see the block heater helping the tranny issues.
Let's hope this isn't a fair-weather car, living in Canada and all.

hey thanks, i already had a broken wire connector fixed and the transmission module addressed, not sure if it was replaced at 798km. This morning (after my car was in the shop thurs/fri for not starting a new signal came on, P> to that effect where the snowflake symbol comes on. I dont know whats going on, I cant find this symbol anywhere, have you seen one like this yet? Thanks, i have the same aesthetically pleasing block cable on my light now too and tried it Friday night. Will repeat ton
ight too.
