Just posting to say hello to the section after being appointed today as a moderator for this bit of the forum.

It is fairly quiet in here but it seems a pretty friendly bit of the forum and here's to hoping that we can increase activity and keep it as friendly too. Hopefully as sales of the 500L increase we might see a good few more owners joining the forum and posting in here.

Collectively I hope we can help each other and share our 500L owning experiences and knowledge.

About me? - well I am 54 and retired early after managing to escape from the NHS a few years back, so I do have the time to try and help as many of you as possible and keep this section a place people will be happy to ask what they think may be even the most basic of questions.

I do own a 500L which we have had since the 1st September. We bought it after finding our previous 500 just a little too small for our regular trips to France and within the UK. We cover on average about 1,000 miles per month and having just come back from Cornwall have already put 1,500 miles on our new L. (I live in Cleveland)

Let's hope that this section proves to be as useful and entertaining as I have found the Multipla section and perhaps, when there are enough of us, we could arange a little get together, mid-country somewhere? Something to think about for the future maybe?
