I've ordered the chrome bonnet stripe for my car and was wondering if anyone has already done this and how easy/difficult it was to apply.

Also, any other recommendations for the 500L? - ordering chrome tax disc as the Arnold Clark one looks awful.

It's stick on....can't go wrong unless you put it on the boot!

Love the colour, but do you really really want a chrome plastic strip stuck down the centre of the bonnet - I suppose that's where it goes?

You very seldom see them on the 500s...

I know you love your car, but sometimes less is more.

I like them on 500s, not seen one on a L yet.

Is it plastic? That would put me off. I quite like the look though, but not in plastic.

Well the look is the look, you either like it or don't, what its made out of shouldn't affect how it looks to you.

I have to disagree with this. Plastic may look the same but it is not.

I am not against plastic as a material in building a car (or other things). But I hate plastic pretending to be metal. Equally I am not keen on metal pretending to be plastic (but this is probably less common). Its just my opinion and I am prepared that it is different to yours.

Some of it comes down to value for money as well.
